L'Oreal Paris Telescopic Original Mascara - 0.27 fl oz

I've been buying this mascara for a couple of years and I noticed in the last year that the tube is lasting about 1/2 as long before it starts to get dried out and there is definitely less product. I thought I was going crazy, but after two tubes of this running out 30% faster I know there's something to it. It's a good mascara, but honestly I'm frustrated knowing I'm getting less product for the same money.

Was excited to try this! Used it a week and the spooky snapped off.

Not clump or irritating goes on smooth. I don't usually like rubber applicators but this one is great! This formula does not flake or transfer and lengthens my lashes. It is a little difficult to clean it off, coconut oil helps. Very pretty!

I am saying the same. This was my favorite but bow my eyes itch all day. I am going to switch to another kind.

This is my absolute favorite mascara. It separates and lifts lashes. Stays put all day and doesn’t clump. I highly recommend the waterproof.

Don’t waste your time, no mascara would have been better. The brush is flimsy, only hoops the mascara on, instead of brushing through. Lashes look clumpy and thick from bad mascara, not because it thickened them.

The best mascara I have ever purchased, I am 58 and have been using mascara since I was a teen back in the 1980’s and I have never had one that makes my lashes look so long. Just beautiful. I don’t use the waterproof and find that the regular one stay on amazing even when I cry. Great product and great price! Now all my friends use and love it too.

I was looking to find a new mascara as my current one I can only get on amazon. You can barely call the brush a brush. It has almost no teeth. I attached photos for reference the top brush is my current mascara and the bottom is telescopic. A good brush prevents clumping.

I have used original Loreal Telescopic mascara in the "gold" tube for more years than I can count, probably since it was introduced. There is nothing like it for lengthening my short, sparse lashes and the narrow wand makes it easy to get into the corners without making a mess around the eye. However, in the last 6-9 months (as a contact lens wearer, I change my mascara every 3 months faithfully, marked on my calendar) the mascara tubes themselves have been flaking their coating and making "gold" dirt specks on my face. When I speculated what the flakes might be, it then was readily evident after taking a closer look at the tube. I thought that the first tube with this issue might have been an anomaly, but sadly it was not. I also see where a non-Telescopic Loreal mascara generated a review with the same flaking tube problem. Please review your changed tube manufacturing processes and fix this issue. In researching this issue I was pleasantly surprised to see that this mascara is now a hit on TikTok (I am not on that platform). A great product in a (probably cheaper to manufacture) tube package that flakes will eventually hamper sales of this product. I really don't want to look for a different mascara, but may have to if the packaging issue continues. Thank you.

Great experience love the lenth and the flexible wand

The definition is great and I like the way it looks. I didn't have any problems with flakiness. But it was hard to apply without it getting messy at the base of my lashes.

My very favorite mascara! It has a small brush which I love. Doesn’t clump and comes off easily when it’s time.

THIS MASCARA IS MY HOLY GRAIL!!! It holds my curls up all day long. It's super easy to remove and makes my lashes look more full.

Absolutely the best mascara I have ever used. The brush is amazing. It enabled this 72-year old lady to get to each fine eyelash without getting mascara on my face! No clumps on my eyelashes either. Just the right amount comes out each time. I chose to go back and put a second coat on.

I’m so sad to give this one star - I’ve used this mascara for over 20 years, but recently the formula was changed and it’s 100% different - clumpy, too thick, and difficult to remove. Please bring back the old formula! Thank you.

My teen’s favorite mascara!

This has been my mascara for about a decade and I can tell they changed the formula because now it makes my lashes itch and my eyes burn. Doesn't last as long and clumps more.

This should no longer be called the “original” telescopic mascara. The formula has changed. It now flakes and is not removable with soap based products. I have worn this for 10 years. Very disappointed because there is nothing else that compares to your original product.

(waterproof black) i have very straight lashes that point downward and this is the only mascara i’ve had that actually holds the curl in my lashes and has them looking full all day until i take it off. it can sometimes be hard to remove but if you use liquid oil free makeup remover or a makeup melting balm it’ll come right off!

I have literally used hundreds of drugstore mascaras over the years. Out of the handful I have liked, they all were discontinued not long after launching which gets very frustrating. Except this one. It has been around for decades and that says that sales are through the roof and it is no wonder why! This mascara rivals many mascaras I have used that cost five times as much. It applies easily, and quickly gives a beautiful clump free lengthening effect. It has a very little volume, but for me I only really need length. And it does not look spidery or fake, the look it gives is flawless but natural. I absolutely love it and have been wearing it for years. I wish the waterproof version was as good - but as many waterproof versions do, it lacked the length and/or volume of the original. Love, love, love this and the price!
